Who I Am
Education and Experience
Gary Nearpass retired after 30+ years in education, having spent most of those as a high school counselor. Leading to and during that career he earned the following degrees:
- BS in Mathematics
- MA in Counseling
- Ph.D. in Educational Psychology
Following his retirement as a professional educator, he completed his:
- MS in Finance
- Registered Investment Advisor endorsement
- CFP®
Community Contributions
Gary is actively involved in the community and has given his time and expertise through numerous volunteer activities such as:
- AARP: income tax counselor
- Senior's Inc.: money management and bill payer
- Washington Street Community Center: board member
- Park Lane Condominium Association: finance committee
- Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association: Ambassador
Personal
Gary has three children and four grandchildren, all living in Colorado. He lives in central Denver with his wife.
